Book of Life
Paul Steven Baty
We live a chapter every day
Of this book called life
It's gonna be written no matter what
Who do you want to write
As for me I chose God
But sometimes I take the pen
I know it's not what I'm supposed to do
But I start writing again
I dont know what to do
I just don't have a clue
What to write, so then I
give Him back the pen
Take the pen from my hand
You are God and I am just a man
The words I wrote I just don't understand
You are God and I am just a man
Take the pen from my hand
He takes the pen away from me
And tells me I'm forgiven
He tells me that he loves me
In spite of all my sins
All is well and all is good
When it's in His hands
Until I take the pen from Him
And it starts all over again
I dont know what to do
I just don't have a clue
What to write, so then I
give Him back the pen
Take the pen from my hand
You are God and I am just a man
The words I wrote I just don't understand
You are God and I am just a man
Take the pen from my hand
Take the pen from my hand
You are God and I am just a man
The words I wrote I just don't understand
You are God and I am just a man
Take the pen from my hand
